My passion for catering can be traced back to my childhood,  as the son of hoteliers "living above the shop", I was immersed within the daily hubbub of hotel life, both behind the scenes and the magical theatre which took place front of house.  My upbringing nurtured a precedent, "WOWing" customers, creating memories and most importantly instilling customer loyalty.

For the past 30 years I have been the driving force in a variety of "hands-on" catering roles within business and industry and education, including chef, catering manager, area manager, strategic area catering operations manager and for the past 12 year, catering consultant. Nansen Green Catering Consultancy was founded in 2018 on the foundations forged whilst working as freelance senior education catering consultant at Health Education Partnership where I continue to advise on a strategic and hands-on basis.

Our mission is to act on our clients needs, find solutions, create sustainable improvements and bring clarity to the education catering and hospitality industry.

Always striving to bring 100% to the work we do, our goal is to offer knowledge, skills and expertise to build strong, long term and beneficial business relationships.
